Since 1995 IIID has staged ten interdisciplinary, international
symposia "Vision Plus", four of them in cooperation
with Fachhochschul-Studiengänge-Vorarlberg, Austria,
one with the School of Design of Carnegie Mellon University,
USA, one with the Vision Plus 7 Organizing Committee
at Tama Art University, Tokyo, Japan, and one with Fachhochschul-Studiengänge
der Wiener Wirtschaft and Werbe Akademie WIFI Wien.
All
Austrian symposia have been supported by the Federal
Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology as
a co-organizer. Vision Plus 10 has also enjoyed the
special support of the Federal Ministry for Economy
and Labour, the Government of the Province of Vorarlberg,
the Community of Lech and Lech Zürs Tourismus GmbH.
