For idX students and IIID members and friends

The IIID Summer Academy 2006 took place from 17 to 28 July at Columbia College Chicago.
It was attended by this year's students of the idX project "Development of International Core Competencies and Student and Faculty Exchange in Information Design", coordinated by IIID within the EU/USA Cooperation Programme in Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training.
The thematic focus was on developing podcasts for walking tours of the Chicago Loop.

The organization of the event was in the hands of Prof. Frank Cronk and Prof. Jill Dacey (University of Idaho), Prof. Judith Moldenhauer (Wayne State University) and Prof. Kay Hartmann (Columbia College).
