IIID, Global Partner of the 2011 IDA congress, is currently preparing a group registration for both events. Please feel invited to join by completing the registration form to be returned to IIID (info@iiid.net)
by 22 August 2011 latest.

you can join the IIID contingent in Taipei (bookings via the congress web site cost EUR 550 / USD 800, until 22 August via IIID EUR 155 / approx. USD 225) and participate in the IDA Congress along with the welcome party, the “Cultural night” and “Taipei night”, visit the World Design Expo and – should you wish – take part at cost price in studio visits and excursions spiced with hikes to some of the unique sights of Taiwan:
Thursday 27 October – studio visits (9:00 - 12:30)
NTD 990 (EUR 24 / USD 35) per person
Friday 28 October – excursion to Shihfen scenic area by rail*
Saturday 29 October – excursion to Taroko Gorge / Taroko National Park *
Sunday 30th October – excursion to Neiwan Scenic area including a high-speed rail train ride to Hsinchu, continuing with the Neiwan line*.
An alternate excursion to Sun Moon Lake with Ci En Pagoda and Wen Wu Temple is also possible depending on the preferences of participants.

Every registration will be acknowledged with a proposal of suitably located accommodation. The sooner we receive your registration the higher the probability that rooms in the hotel we have in mind are still available. Currently they are advertised for EUR 76 / USD 110 per night. |
